There are many styles of area rugs available.
This glossary should give you the knowledge you need to find the area rug you want.

bloriental.jpg - 13303 Bytes Braided Rug - Yarn of fabric is plaited to form a continuous rope of braid which is sewn side by side in oval, round or oblong shapes to form a braided reversible rug.
Dhurrie - A flat woven reversible rug, dhurries are usually made of cotton or wool, are light-weight and are appreciated for their casual appearance.
Hooked Rug - Yarns are pulled through canvas cloth to form a looped or cut pile.
Kelim - A tapestry-like flat woven reversible rug, blanket or wall hanging.
Printed Rugs - Solid color rugs on which a design has been stenciled.
